NEW YORK -- With two outs and the bases loaded in the ninth inning, Martin Prado fouled off three straight fastballs from power pitcher Daniel Webb. To settle himself, he looked into the Yankees dugout and saw his new teammates standing at the railing, cheering him on. "They give you a little extra," Prado said. Prado worked the count full and then lined a single up the middle, lifting New York to a 4-3, come-from-behind victory over the Chicago White Sox on Friday night. "One of the biggest moments in my career, not personal-wise. Just getting a win for the Yankees means a lot," said Prado, who was obtained in a trade with Arizona on July 31. Prado also hit a two-run homer in the third, and Jacoby Ellsbury had an RBI double in the fifth off John Danks after Chicagos Jose Abreu connected for a three-run shot in the first against Shane Greene. Ichiro Suzuki started the ninth with a single and advanced on a sacrifice. After Derek Jeter lined out, Webb (5-4) intentionally walked Ellsbury and walked Mark Teixeira before Prados hit touched off a raucous celebration near second base. "I thought it was a game we had to win," left fielder Brett Gardner said of the Yankees, who are the fringes of the AL playoff race. David Robertson (2-4) struck out two in a perfect ninth, closing out New Yorks fourth win in 11 games. Chicago (59-69) lost its fourth straight and fell a season-high 10 games under .500. "You get three runs in the first and not get any more. ... Thats how you lose," White Sox designated hitter Adam Dunn said. After talking about how Cuban ballplayers admired the Yankees growing up because of their success, Abreu impressed New York with his 33rd homer in the first at-bat of his career at Yankee Stadium. Two innings later, Danks yielded Prados long ball, his AL-leading 24th homer given up. The right-hander allowed three runs, upping his total to a league-high 87, in five-plus innings. Greene recovered nicely after giving up three straight hits to start the game, including Abreus homer. He allowed a career-high nine hits in five-plus innings and struck out seven. Gardner made a strong throw to nail Alexei Ramirez at the plate -- a call upheld by video review -- to keep it 3-all in the sixth. TRAINERS ROOM White Sox: OF Adam Eaton is scheduled to begin a rehabilitation assignment Saturday with Triple-A Charlotte. He has been out with a strained right oblique since Aug. 9. Yankees: OF-DH Carlos Beltran was out of the lineup for the third straight day. He hit off a tee and did soft toss to test his injured right elbow, and all went well. "Were hoping hes a player for us (Saturday)," manager Joe Girardi said. UP NEXT Chicagos Scott Carroll (5-7) is set to start against New Yorks Hiroki Kuroda (8-8). Before the game the Yankees will retired Hall of Fame manager Joe Torres number and unveil a plaque in his honour in Monument Park. Torre led New York to four World Series championships in five years from 1996-2000 and 12 straight playoff appearances. FOUL, FOUL BALL Fan Kevin Ohea took chasing a foul ball to precarious lengths. The navy-suited 20-something, sitting in the first row of the second deck at Yankee Stadium, climbed the railing and went into an unused photographers perch to pick up the souvenir, receiving loud applause. The cheers turned to boos when he was escorted out by a policeman, but Ohea was met with another ovation when he was allowed to return. "They realized it was heat of the moment and realized there was nothing you could do about it," Ohea said of why he was not ejected from the ballpark. "I think the suit helped out." SPECIAL K Robertson got his 500th career strikeout, when he fanned Tyler Flowers in the ninth. SOLID START White Sox 2B Carlos Sanchez had his first three major league hits. He became the first White Sox player to have a three-hit game within his first two career games since Craig Wilson and Brian Simmons in 1998. Nike Air Max Saldi Online . The man is Corey Sznajder, a soft-spoken 23-year-old Salisbury University grad who lives in Annapolis, Maryland and has been charting zone entries and zone exits throughout the NHL. I love big projects, he said. No kidding. At the 2013 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference, I met Eric Tulsky, who presented research on the value of controlled zone entries (short answer: about twice as valuable to enter with control of the puck rather than dumping it in) and Sznajder had charted a couple hundred games that were included in that study. Air Max Scontate Online . "I only want to go through this one more time," Crosby said Friday. The 24-year-old captain hasnt played since the symptoms resurfaced following a loss to Boston on Dec. 5. Doctors allowed him to return to full practice on Tuesday and while Crosby is pleased with the way his body is responding he refuses to put on his return.Christine Sinclair had no idea when she first tugged on a Canada jersey that shed ever make anywhere near No. 200. But on the eve of her 200th appearance, Canadas captain and one of the games finest female players said its a testament to how the national womens program has grown over the course of her career. "Someone like Charmaine Hooper, she played on the national team forever and never made 200 caps," Sinclair told The Canadian Press in a phone interview Wednesday. "Andrea Neil as well. . . there just werent as many games played. Then you look at myself at 200 caps. We have so many players that are above 100 caps, and that had never happened before. "It just goes to show the support the womens team has been given, and just the sheer number of international games we get to play now." Neil played 132 games for Canada, while Hooper played 129. Of the current Canadian womens squad, Diana Matheson has 154 caps, Rhian Wilkinson has 143, followed by Sophie Schmidt (109) and Karina LeBlanc (106). The 30-year-old Sinclair will earn her 200th cap -- yet another major milestone in a career paved with them -- when the Canadians play Scotland in the opening game of the Torneio Internacional Cidade de Sao Paolo tournament in Brazil. "I think everyones excited," said Canadas coach John Herdman. "Im pleased youve reminded us (of Sinclairs 200th cap) because I think we almost forgot, weve been that focused on our work preparing for this first game against Scotland. I know it will get mentioned in one of the meetings (Thursday). For Sinclair, were just hoping she puts a goal in." The Burnaby, B.C., native has 146 career goals, and is third behind Americans Abby Wambach and Mia Hamm. Of the countless memories shes compiled over 199 games, she said her "once-a-career-type" goal happened at this same tournament in Brasilia in 2010. Canada was trailing Brazil in the final and was down to 10 players when Sinclair scored in the 82nd minute. The tie gave Canada the tournament victory based on goal difference. "Just received a pass from Melissa Tancredi, I was probably 30 yards out. One-timed it, left foot, top corner," Sinclair said. "It was one of those thinggs that youll never do again.dddddddddddd But in terms of striking a ball, thats one that I remember." Her first game was against China in the Algarve Cup. She was 16. "I remember being so nervous because I had just watched them win a silver medal at the World Cup, in that famous game against the Americans in 1999, and next thing I know here I am playing against them, and just being so nervous," Sinclair said. Her first goal came in her very next appearance, versus Norway. "That was interesting because it was the team Even (Pellerud, Canadas coach at the time) used to coach, and they were one of the best teams in the world, and all we had been told is their goalkeeper (Bente Nordby) was the best goalkeeper in the world," Sinclair said. "I intercepted a pass from one of their centre-backs and I went in on a breakaway and scored, and it was crazy. It was obviously a goal Ill never forget." No question, she said, her best memories -- and greatest feeling of accomplishment -- came at the London Olympics, where the Canadian women beat France for bronze. Sinclair said her parents still ask her why shes missing from all the pictures of her teammates celebrating on the pitch in Coventry. "I have to explain to them You dont understand, the whistle blew and I broke down in tears," she said. "You work so hard to accomplish that and to actually reach one of your childhood dreams, not many people can say they actually get to do that, and I was just completely overwhelmed by the whole winning a bronze medal, and then stepping onto the podium and seeing the Canadian flag rise. Its pretty special." Sinclair said, like most of her teammates, shes only thinking as far ahead as the womens World Cup in Canada in 2015, and the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Shell re-evaluate everything after that. "Right now, talking on the phone, I cant imagine only playing for two more years," she said. "Assuming I can stay healthy, obviously I want to keep going." Brazil, at No. 4, is the top-ranked team in the four-country tournament. The seventh-ranked Canadians play unranked Chile on Dec. 15, and Brazil on the Dec. 18. The final is Dec. 22. 19:23ET 11-12-13 Authentic Nike Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Tennessee Titans Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Washington Redskins Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Arizona Cardinals Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Denver Broncos Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Green Bay Packers Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Los Angeles Chargers Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike New England Patriots Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Oakland Raiders Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Seattle Seahawks Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Carolina Panthers Jerseys Cheap Authentic Nike Cleveland Browns Jerseys Cheap Cheap Throwback Baseball Arizona Diamondbacks Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Atlanta Braves Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Baltimore Orioles Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Boston Red Sox Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Chicago Cubs Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Chicago White Sox Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Cincinnati Reds Jerseys Cheap Throwback Baseball Cleveland Indians Jerseys ' ' '
